Partner
Dana Delman, Esq.
Dana Delman is the co–founder and a partner of Delman Vukmanovic LLP. Dana is highly respected by her peers in the Los Angeles legal community due to her highly intelligent, meticulous, and relentless approach to tackling difficult legal issues and disputes.
A Skilled and Persuasive Business Attorney
Dana has garnered more than 20 years of in–the–trenches experience as a hands–on attorney fighting for individuals and businesses of all means and sizes. Over time she has developed the keen sense of strategy and case management that her clients have learned to count on. Through her civil litigation and appellate work she has amassed an enviable track record of favorable conclusions, litigating a wide array of cases covering diverse areas of the law; areas of expertise span an extensive range of intricate business litigation and transaction issues that include fraud, intellectual property law, corporate/partner dissolution, legal malpractice, entertainment law, real estate litigation, employment lawsuits, personal injury, and fair debt collection.
A Comprehensive Litigation Career
Dana’s noteworthy large–firm background reflects the embodiment of her top–notch legal work and expertise. Her clear, precise communication skills and her commitment to even the smallest detail have established her as a first–class legal writer. Over her sweeping career, she has produced a diversified aggregate of persuasive briefs and motions that have resulted in many successful dispositive motions and successful appellate briefs to the California and United States Courts of Appeal. Some of Dana’s work presented before the Ninth Circuit United States Court of Appeal has resulted in a shift of legal standards applied in that circuit. Moreover, she has had success on her clients’ behalf in often very contentious mediations and binding arbitrations, as well as civil jury trials in courtrooms all over Southern California.
Transaction Skills Honed in the Trenches
Several years ago—at the request of many of her business litigation clients—Dana began working on their transactions in addition to handling their litigation needs. Her clients realized they needed even stronger and more concise contracts than the ones their transactional attorneys were supplying. Building on her impressive litigation experience, Dana went on to establish a set of skills structuring transactions that help avoid litigation disputes and better protect her clients.
In addition to her skills as an attorney, Dana’s acute ability to read people and quickly discern their circumstances makes her a canny adversary to opponents as well as an empathetic and supportive presence for her clients.
